Eligible Connections Academy students can now take advantage of dual enrollment to complete college courses through Pearson Accelerated Pathways. Choose from 18 courses that are:
- Online
- Flexible
- Student-centered
- Transferrable to future colleges
Participants in this program will be connected with an advisor and success coach who will work with them to identify goals, select the right courses, and more.

How it works

Create a course plan
After completing the form above, you and your student will connect with an advisor to discuss your academic options. Your student will receive a tailored course plan that includes courses to complete, when to complete them, and how to register and start studying, all in one place.

Get extra support
Throughout the program, your student will work one-on-one with a success coach who will offer support, answer questions, and keep your student on track towards reaching their goals.

Study on your schedule
Courses can be taken during junior and senior year and are highly flexible—no class times, deadlines, or online lectures to attend. They can even take tests and quizzes when it’s convenient for them.

Transfer your credits
Once your student is ready to enroll in their chosen college, Pearson Accelerated Pathways will help them transfer in the completed online courses. No headaches or wasted time.

Connections Academy students at participating schools can take one course each school year at no cost to your family. Qualified students can enroll in any of the remaining 18 courses for a 20% discount*.
